About Patti Kraemer-Doell

Patricia "Patti" Kraemer-Doell has been the owner and operator of Little Big Farm since 2006. Patti has been working in horticulture since the mid 1990s when she formed a partnership in a floral landscape design company. In 1997, Patti took a position at the New York Botanical Garden as the coordinator for the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden where she was responsible for programs that instructed inner-city children and residents how to propagate flowers and vegetables.

In 2002, Patti pursued her long-time interest in farming by taking a position at The Good Hand Farm in Andover, N.J. Patti was was responsible for assisting in the propagation of certified organic vegetables and managing the farm's participation in the Union Square (NYC) and Millburn, N.J., farmers' markets. In 2003, Patti joined the Walnut Grove farm to assist the well-established operation's production of organically grown vegetables and Christmas trees.

Patti is a member of the Northeast Organic Farming Association, the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, Foodshed Alliance and Local Harvest.

You can purchase Patti's posies right from the farm stand or at the Blairstown Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from mid July through October.

Directions:
From Route 80, take exit 12 to merge onto Blairstown Rd/County Hwy-521. Drive approximately 1.5 miles north towards Blairstown. Turn left at Heller Hill Rd and travel 0.3 miles. Little Big Farm is the first farm with the big red barns on the right-hand side of the road.

From Route 94 in Blairstown, drive south on Hope Road/Hwy-521 for 3.3 miles. Turn right on Heller Hill Road and travel 0.3 miles. The farm is on the right.
