Little Big Farm is just that – a “little” historic farm that is “big” on farm magic.
Recognizing its special sense of place, the Blairstown Historical Society has made repeat visits to the farm to admire the 19th century barn and outbuildings, lovely pond and meadows, flower fields and farm animals. Now Little Big Farm is extending an invitation to small groups looking to pass an hour or two in ways that are fun, educational and inspirational.
What’s Happening at Little Big Farm?
For just $10.00 a visitor and a nominal materials fee, Little Big Farm can tailor a visit that will meet your group’s needs. Our specialty is flowers and gardening, so many groups will want to come to take a walk through the flower fields, pick some flowers and do a quick bouquet workshop.
Other groups may be interested in a gardening workshop where kids and adults can learn about composting, seeding, planting and harvesting flowers and vegetables.
Of course, the chickens, ducks and hogs make for an entertaining backdrop for kids and adults alike!
Whether you lead a garden club, a Brownies troop, or are simply looking for ways to entertain the extended family, Little Big Farm offers you a unique way to spend an afternoon.
