Snip and Sip Workshops
Little Big Farm offers “Snip and Sip” flower harvesting events that enable participants to learn from Patti’s near 30-years of horticultural expertise.
In a relaxed and fun atmosphere, walk with Patti through the flower fields and “snip” some of the most beautiful stems you have ever seen as you “sip” your beverage of choice. You will learn about the dozens of varieties that we grow and have all of your questions answered. At the end of the evening you will also receive a quick tutorial on how to arrange your newfound bucket of blooms. Bring a friend or two to share this wonderful evening.
Farm Life
Farm Crew 2025!
This year we have an awesome team to grow the flowers and take care of the farm. We have (left to right) Danny the amazing weed whacker and all around happy Mr. Fix-It, Henry the person with the most personality who is currently painting the big dairy barn in the background (!), Kelly who fulfills our wholesale orders every week and who is always up for a good weeding session and myself, Patti, the lady with the hat (always!). And we can’t forget Buttercup, the sweet and super smart flower dog who chases away the deer and rabbits that try to eat our flowers. It’s such a pleasure to work with this crew and I am grateful for them every sweaty day!
ABOUT TO BLOOM
Dahlias
We are growing over 1,000 dahlia plants this summer and they are about to bloom any minute! These flowers will knock your socks off with their beauty. You can find them in every bucket and bouquet once they get going. If you want a really special treat though, sign up for our Dahlia Share in the Flower Club. Starting at the end of August, participants get a bucket full of dahlias every week for 4 weeks. All different sizes shapes and colors to explore the wonderful world of dahlias.
